The Great AI Project of the Century
The AI industry got even hotter when NVIDIA and OpenAI joined hands to make a historic deal worth up to $100 billion, or about $3.6 trillion. The goal was to build a giant AI data center that used more than 10 gigawatts of power, or tens of millions of GPUs, to drive the creation of superintelligence, or AI that was superintelligent.

The project will begin its first phase in 2026 with NVIDIA's new system, Vera Rubin, designed to support global brutality.
