But in the future, Google will add a Developer Verification system and require a "digital signature" to direct every app like a developer's digital ID card. If an app does not have a verifiable signature, it will no longer be installed on a certified Android device.

This idea is not just happening, because Google has announced since 2024 that it will begin to enforce it in 2026 and expand globally in 2027. Thailand is one of the first four countries to use it first. The main purpose is to close security vulnerabilities. The latter has information that apps outside the Play Store are 50 times more vulnerable to malware.

The design of the new app installation system is a major overhaul of Android because, in addition to increasing security, it also makes developers more responsible. If anyone releases a malicious app, Google can revoke the certificate and disable all apps immediately.
