Microsoft released a security update (Patch Tuesday) for October 2025 for Windows 11, code KB5066835 and KB5066793, the last round in which Windows 10 will receive a free update, after the official supply phase expires this month.

In this round, a total of 172 vulnerabilities were fixed, including six Zero-Day vulnerabilities that were made public and actually compromised in some cases.

There are a total of 8 Critical vulnerabilities, divided into Remote Code Execution - RCE: 5, and Elevation of Privilege: 3.
