The strongest tiny computer in the world (at the AI event) 🍋

After launching a buzz early in the year, NVIDIA DGX Spark, the world's smallest AI supercomputer, has finally landed on the market! With a tiny computer designed to support particularly advanced AI work, but even if it's small, the power isn't tiny, because this is a "supercomputer" level that really shrinks to the desk.

If you go back a few years, it's not easy to find a computer to try to develop an AI. You have to rent computing power from a cloud or data center, which is expensive and difficult to access. But now NVIDIA is changing everything with the DGX Spark that comes with the newest version of the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip.

Internally, it combines the power of a 20-core CPU (10 Cortex-X925 + 10 Cortex-A725) and 6,144 CUDA Cores GPU with 128GB LPDDR5x large unified memory ram and 4TB internal SSD. It fully supports ConnectX-7 200Gb / s, LAN 10Gbps, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3 and USB4 Type-C ports.

All of this is compressed in a machine weighing only 1.2 kilograms, but it provides up to 1 PetaFLOP (FP4 Sparse). It can run a gigantic AI model of 200 billion parameters in one machine, and can be expanded into a cluster with a high-speed ConnectX-7. For software, it comes with a complete set of DGX OS and NVIDIA AI Stack. It supports fine-tuning of a 70B model at the local level, and if two machines are connected, it can run a 405B model immediately.

NVIDIA intended DGX Spark to be the beginning of an "AI on the desk" era accessible to everyone, from millions of supercomputers in data centers to book-sized machines that developers, researchers, or creators can use to create innovations from their own homes.
