Linux users don't have to worry, because AMD's driver system on Linux developed separately from Windows and under a long-established community-based open source model. For example, Linux still supports old architectural screen cards like GCN to date. Most recently, AMD has stopped developing AMDVLK to turn to community-built RADV support from Valve, Google and Red Hat.
