Learn AI from Microsoft in Thai over 280 free courses
Microsoft Thailand is partnering with the Ministry of Labour, moving forward with the AI for Workforce program, is intended to shape Thai workers to be ready for the digital economy era, and is pushing the country into Workforce 5.0, targeting AI training for a total of 150,000 Thai workers nationwide, with a diploma certified by both agencies, improving their chances of applying for jobs or moving their careers in the future.

Behind the project are some very thoughtful figures. According to the Digital Demand Survey over the next five years, Thailand needs more than 1,087,548 skilled people, especially digital, aviation, logistics, intelligent electronics, and modern automotive groups. The skills often discussed are Data Analytics, software development, and artificial intelligence. Entrepreneurs themselves need more than 41 percent of people using Generative AI, but they are constantly in trouble for people.

This project is designed to be easy to access through the DSD Online Training platform, with over 280 courses on AI and digital in Thai. The content ranges from basic to capped levels. People who want to go to the Developer line also have an in-depth course on Data Analytics. Unemployed or terminated workers can apply to upskill themselves to increase their chances of finding a new job.

It has not only taught the general workforce, but also the management and policymakers of the Workforce Department, as well as training speakers in centers across the country to become the next importer of AI knowledge in their own areas, making skills development non-stop.

The AI for Workforce is a public-private handshake to prevent Thai workers from being left behind in the upcoming AI era. The goal is to transform people from ordinary technology users to AI innovators and become the dominant force in the long-term Thai economy.
