Ryzen AI Halo Mini-PC Cable AI Rival NVIDIA DGX Spark
AMD unveiled a new version of the Ryzen AI Halo Mini PC at CES 2026, designed specifically for local AI applications, and positioned as a Mini Workstation to compete directly with the NVIDIA DGX Spark.

Ryzen AI Halo is based on the Strix Halo or Ryzen AI Max 300 Series platform, paired with the Radeon 8060S deity iGPU as the core of the system. It brings existing chips to a ready-made machine for developers and users of the AI line. Despite the core focus on AI, the machine can still be used in other areas such as content creation or gaming.

A key highlight of Ryzen AI Halo is full Windows support, with ROCm support and an open-weight AI model from day one. Unlike NVIDIA, DGX Spark, which uses the Arm architecture and does not support Windows, makes its use more restrictive, with the system expected to come with up to 128GB of Unified memory for running large AI models on board.

AMD says that the Ryzen AI Halo will be released in the next quarter. The main highlight is not just the processing power, but the flexibility of use that combines the world of AI, creative work, and general PC use into smaller machines, something that rivals like DGX Spark cannot do today.
