Ram price has started to go down... yet? 🍋

DDR5 ram prices for casual users in Europe began to signal a slight drop, although the global shortage of DRAM chips remained unsolved, garnering the way with the US market that DDR5 ram prices were still very high.

According to the data, the average price of a 32GB DDR5 ram in Europe has previously stabilized to around €95-100, or around THB 3,000, at the end of the third quarter of 2025, before the climb in October and the leap in November, until it peaked in early February 2026 at around €430-470, or around THB 16,000.

But after mid-February 2026, there was a downward trend, which may have been a sign of a post-price correction. When trying to check prices on Amazon Germany, according to CamelCamelCamel, 32GB DDR5-6000 / 6400 ram prices from major brands like Crucial, Corsair, G.Skill, Kingston and Patriot were found.

Many models were found to have dropped in price from the peak a few weeks ago, especially the Corsair and Kingston, which dropped quite clearly. European prices included VAT. The Corsair dropped from about 480 euros, or about 17,500 baht, to about 425 euros, or about 15,500 baht. Kingston dropped from about 550 euros, or about 20,000 baht, to about 463 euros, or about 16,900 baht.

Despite the onset of seeing corrective signals, current prices are still considered high and will likely not return to their level soon until memory demand drops or new DRAM capacity in the 2026-2027 period begins to enter the market in full.
