Valve created a major concussion in the latest patch of Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) with a complete overhaul of the weapon reload system in order to raise realism and add more resource management challenges, completely changing traditional playback behavior.

The centerpiece of the new system is to dump the stale ammunition in the magazine, "from the reload to the reload, but the new system will immediately dump the old magazine to replace it.
