In the middle of space, I still have to call IT.
Although Artemis II is a historic NASA mission, it was unable to escape IT problems when it was reported that astronauts on board encountered problems with Microsoft Outlook on computer equipment that was used in two versions of Outlook but was unable to use both.
.
During contact with the ground control center, the astronauts had to notify the team to remotely solve the problem. Once again, it was reinforced that whether they were working on Earth or in space, if Outlook had a problem, they finally had to call IT Support to help.
.
But this event did not affect the main Artemis II mission in any way; the mission continued as planned, and proceeded to a normal round-the-moon course.
.
Even now, NASA has not officially explained why the problem is caused, but it has become a small color of major space missions, and it reiterates that no matter how advanced the technology is, problems with basic software can always occur.
