A major factor contributing to the low rating of the MacBook came from Apple's design approach that primarily emphasized thinness, neatness, and body strength, resulting in a difficult internal structure designed to unpack, whether it was the use of glue to hold many parts, battery and keyboard designs that were not conducive to displacement, including that some parts were directly welded to the motherboard.

These limitations directly affect the long-term user experience; when a machine is in trouble, repairs often require specialized tools, take more execution time, and cost more than usual; in many cases, little damage can lead to a whole set of spare parts being replaced, forcing the user to bear unnecessarily higher costs.
