LG launches world's first 1000Hz screen
LG released the UltraGear 25G590B, a new generation of gaming displays in the UltraGear family that featured the world's first Full HD display to support Native 1000Hz Refresh Rate on a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, without reducing the resolution to 720p or using a special mode to push refresh numbers.

This version of the screen, which measures 24.5 inches, uses an IPS panel, designed specifically for FPS-themed games and eSports competitions. The hallmark is a more fluid display, reducing image latency, and allowing players to see in-game movement more clearly, especially strokes that require aiming, tracking enemies, or rotating camera angles quickly.

LG also incorporates Motion Blur Reduction Pro technology to help reduce the blur of fast-moving objects, with a glare-reducing screen coating to reduce interference from external light. The stand design is designed to consume little table space to leave room for moving the mouse, which is what competitive gamers focus on.

In addition, the UltraGear 25G590B comes with AI features for adapting audio-visual images, such as AI Scene Optimization, which adjusts images by game type, and AI Sound, which enhances the sound dimension when used in conjunction with supported headphones.

However, LG has yet to reveal the full price and specs of this model, with the UltraGear 25G590B scheduled for release in some countries in the second half of 2026 before gradually expanding the market further later.
