🚨When Real Life Interrupts the Scroll

Most of what I share online is light and comedy focused. But being part of many communities also means occasionally witnessing moments that are serious and concerning. It’s jarring to move from humor to posts that reflect real fear and harm.

There is space for laughter online and there should also be space for care and safety.

I recently saw a post from a mother who shared that her partner choked her in front of their young children. I’m deeply sorry this happened.

Being choked is a serious warning sign and both she and her children deserve to be safe. If you are in the US you can call or text 988 or contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1 800 799 7233.

They offer confidential support and can help with safe next steps. You are not alone.

Comedy connects us but real life matters too. If this information could help you or someone you know please save or share it so it’s available when needed.
