⭐️ the 2 day rule

the two day rule is a commitment to NEVER miss two days of anything you’re trying to be consistent at. this removes the pressure of missing a day, while keeping momentum going on your progress

⭐️ have a plan

when we’re trying to do something new regularly, there’s GOING to be friction. you have to EXPECT resistance!! what are you going to do when that happens? have a plan so when you hit obstacles, you can deal with them easily

⭐️ care

you can’t be consistent when you don’t have GOOD REASON to be! why are you doing what you’re doing? what’s your “why”? what’s your motivation? what is this goal going to offer you? remind yourself when you feel like skipping/giving up

ie being consistent at:

studying = better grades = freedom to choose your school

working out = better physique and mental health = higher quality of life long term

journaling = increased clarity and self understanding = more peace and direction

cooking at home = decreased bloating, better gut health = healthier and no brain fog

⭐️ have a vision

vision is consistency’s partner. what’s your end goal? have a clear image of your purpose in this practice (whatever it is) so that you don’t lose sight of what’s important
