Reading this book felt like being in the middle of a delicious meal, only to look down and see your hands covered with blood, realizing youโve been delightfully consuming human flesh.
I donโt know that any book has hit me this way. At least not for a very long time. This story hollowed out my chest. It filled my throat with an invisible, but very present, lump of sorrow. I canโt even โreviewโ this book properly because I feel so a part of the story that I feel like Iโm reeling from grief and madness.
