I had mixed feelings about this book. First I will say, I enjoyed reading it, and it was well written in terms of the actual writing. I did have problems with the content though. I read it for book club, so it was already not something I would’ve gravitated towards. First, it was very 🍇-y. There were a lot of loose ties left. Much of the story really didn’t logically make sense and was very far fetched. It seemed clear to me that the author probably didn’t research the kind of situation this book revolves around. And the quick resolution and acceptance of what ended up happening was odd. Probably wouldn’t read it again, wouldn’t recommend it, but if someone asked me I’d say “it was decent. 3 stars.”
