Bookish finds at HomeGoods 📚💗

Y’all I don’t have a HomeGoods in my city, but I just went to another city an hour over today and went to their HomeGoods and they had some adorable bookish things!! 📚🙂‍↕️

I’m obsessed with these bookish lamps, and they were really reasonably priced, but I wasn’t trying to drop $50 on a lamp today 😂 And then they had a bunch of the book vases and some special edition books!! 💗 I also found some random contemporary books but those aren’t as interesting so I didn’t take a picture 😂

... Read moreAfter stumbling upon those incredible bookish lamps and charming book vases at HomeGoods, my mind immediately started buzzing with ideas for how to style my own bookshelf! You know how it is – you find one perfect piece, and suddenly your whole decor vision comes to life. While I didn't see any actual bookshelves on this trip, HomeGoods is often a treasure trove for smaller storage solutions and decorative accents that can completely transform your reading nook. When I'm hunting for bookshelf essentials, I always keep an eye out for unique bookends. They're such a simple way to add personality and keep your beloved novels neatly organized. I've seen everything from rustic farmhouse styles to sleek, modern designs at HomeGoods, and often at prices that make me do a double-take. Another must-have for me are small decorative boxes or bins. They're perfect for tucking away charging cables, reading glasses, or even those random bookmarks that seem to multiply. It keeps the clutter hidden but still accessible, making your bookshelf look more curated and less chaotic. And let's not forget the sheer joy of finding unique decor items! Those bookish lamps I spotted? Imagine one of those nestled among your favorite reads, casting a warm glow for late-night reading sessions. Or a beautiful book vase, filled with a single stem, breaking up the visual weight of all those spines. I even saw some signs that hinted at a 'BOOK CLUB' theme, which made me think about creating a dedicated section on my shelf for current reads or literary discussions. Sometimes, a simple decorative plate stand can display a cherished edition and turn your bookshelf into a mini art gallery. My personal strategy for HomeGoods bookshelf finds is to go in with an open mind but a specific goal. I always check the home decor aisles, the office supplies section (for desk organizers that double as shelf bins!), and even the kitchenware for unique bowls or trays that can hold smaller items. Don't be afraid to think outside the box! A beautiful ceramic mug can become a pen holder, or a small pedestal can elevate a stack of books. The key is to look for texture, color, and items that spark joy and tell a story. One thing I've learned from countless HomeGoods trips is that inventory changes constantly. If you see something you love for your bookshelf, snag it! It might not be there tomorrow. And remember, a well-styled bookshelf isn't just about showing off your books; it's about creating a cozy, inviting space that reflects your personality. So, next time you're browsing those aisles, keep your bookshelf in mind – you might just find the perfect piece to complete your literary sanctuary!
