I thought that was what 'fun' looked like, but it always left me feeling empty or, worse, regretful. Then, something shifted. I encountered Jesus, and my life was never the same. It was like a light turned on. Suddenly, the words of Galatians 2:20, 'It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me,' took on a profound meaning. It wasn't just a verse; it became my reality. This isn't about becoming a boring version of myself; it’s about becoming a better version, one that is truly free and filled with genuine joy. The 'new me in Christ' isn't about giving up fun; it's about discovering a deeper, more fulfilling kind of joy that the world can't offer. I've learned that you don't have to sin to have fun. Period. My happiness now comes from a place of peace, purpose, and unconditional love. It's the joy of knowing I'm loved by God, the joy of serving others, and the joy of being part of a community that uplifts and encourages me. This kind of joy is abundant, it’s lasting, and it’s truly satisfying. Worship has become a key part of this new life. Whether it’s listening to praise music, joining fellow believers in church, or simply spending quiet time with God, there’s a sense of connection and renewal that fuels my spirit. It's not just about what I *do*, but about who I am becoming through Christ. And speaking of this new life, it all stems from one incredible truth: the truth about Easter. It’s not just a holiday; it’s the pivotal event that changed everything. The resurrection of Jesus means victory over sin and death, offering us a chance at a completely new beginning. Because of what Jesus did on the cross and His triumphant return, we can be saved, forgiven, and live this transformed life. It is the ultimate act of God's love, making this 'new you' possible. So, when I look back at where I was and where I am now, all I can say is, 'Thank you Jesus for saving me!' This journey to a life filled with authentic joy, free from the burden of chasing fleeting pleasures, is the greatest gift. Don't let anyone tell you that a life with God is 'no fun.'
