I wonder why on the sofa?
On the sofa in the living room, a kitten is bending its small neck. In his eyes, which are only 12 months old, everything in this world seems to be reflected like a riddle. Why, why, why? The neck tilts to the left and right as if asking. The gesture is lovely and at the same time reminds us of the pure wonder of the world that we adults have long forgotten. Why does the wind blow, why does the shadow move? The accumulation of small questions grows into wisdom. It feels like the handle of the future door is hidden in the angle of the kitten s neck.
子猫が首をかしげる姿は多くの人を魅了しますが、実はさまざまな理由が考えられます。猫が首をかしげるのは、聞きなれない音に興味を持ったり、視覚や聴覚の情報をより明確に捉えようとしているときや、コミュニケーションの一環として使われる場合があります。私も飼い猫が首をかしげる姿を見て、思わず声をかけた経験がありますが、その仕草には純粋な好奇心と、安心感が込められているように感じました。 また、赤ちゃんやうさぎなど他の動物でも首をかしげる行動は見られますが、それぞれの心理や意味は少しずつ違います。赤ちゃんの場合は新しい刺激を受け止めるための自然な反応であり、うさぎの場合は周囲の音や動きに敏感に反応していると考えられています。こうした動物たちが首をかしげる仕草は、私たち人間にとっても「世界を学び、驚き、理解しようとする純粋な心」の象徴とも言えます。 さらに、「なんでだろう」と首をかしげる姿は、子猫だけでなく大人も忘れかけている大切な感覚を思い出させてくれます。日常の小さな疑問を大切にし、純粋に世界を見つめることで、新しい発見や学びが生まれるのだと感じます。猫の首かしげる動作を見て、私ももっと好奇心を持って日常を過ごしたいと思いました。
