SUSHI OTP ATLANTA

📍Location: Circle Sushi

Dishes I Ordered & Price: Omakase Sushi $36

Overall rating: 9/10

Had an amazing dining experience at Circle Sushi with their Omakase Sushi dinner. The nigiri was fresh and flavorful, each piece a delight. The chef-selected roll was a nice touch, though it leaned a bit heavily on tuna for my personal taste. Still, the quality and presentation were top-notch, making it a meal to remember! Can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu.

... Read moreSince my last visit, I've been meaning to share more about why Circle Sushi's Omakase truly stands out as a hidden gem in OTP Atlanta. When I say must-try, I genuinely mean it! For those unfamiliar, Omakase means 'I'll leave it up to you,' a chef-selected tasting menu that promises the freshest, most seasonal ingredients. My particular experience started with a delicate amuse-bouche, setting the stage for what was to come. The chef skillfully presented each piece of nigiri, often explaining the type of fish and its origin, which added a wonderful educational layer to the dining. I remember a particularly buttery piece of uni and a perfectly seared scallop that just melted in my mouth. While the original review mentioned a tuna-heavy roll, which is a personal preference, the quality of the tuna itself was undeniable – vibrant and fresh, showcasing why Circle Sushi is making waves. What truly makes Circle Sushi such a remarkable find, beyond the exquisite food, is the fantastic value it offers. At just $36 for an Omakase experience of this caliber, it’s almost unheard of, especially when you consider the meticulous preparation and quality of ingredients. It effectively makes a high-end, artistic dining experience accessible without compromising on taste or presentation. The restaurant itself has a cozy yet refined atmosphere; it’s not overly flashy, which contributes to its 'hidden gem' vibe. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable, always ready to answer questions about the menu or sake pairings. This level of service enhances the overall meal, making you feel truly cared for and adding to the reason why so many circle sushi reviews rave about it. For anyone planning a visit, I highly recommend making reservations, especially if you're aiming for dinner or weekend Omakase. This ensures you get a spot at the sushi bar if you want to watch the chef in action! While the exact circle sushi hours can vary (always best to check their website or give them a quick call ahead of time!), I've found that going earlier in the evening on a weekday can sometimes result in a more intimate and relaxed experience. Parking is usually manageable, often available in the surrounding lot, which is a huge plus in Atlanta. Beyond Omakase, I’ve peeked at their circle sushi menu and seen a great selection of classic rolls, sashimi, and appetizers that I’m eager to try on my next visit. They also have some interesting specialty drinks and a decent sake list to complement your meal. Don't forget to ask about their daily specials – sometimes they have unique catches or seasonal creations not listed on the regular circle sushi menu. This spot truly elevates the sushi experience in Atlanta, offering both incredible flavor and fantastic value, and I can't recommend it enough for fellow sushi lovers!
