🦋I love my iPad but sometimes I forget everything that I can do on it! Other times I just forget how fun it is hehe
Here are some of the things that I love to do on my iPad that might motivate you to use yours more -
📑Digital notes - as a student I use my iPad constantly. I love to take notes on my iPad for all of my classes. It's way better than carrying around a bunch of notebooks and not to mention all of the pen and color options.
✨Coloring - I love to color and draw in Procreate! I usually find free coloring pages online just searching on google images or pinterest. So fun!
👾Gaming - right now I'm obsessed with Clash of Clans and if you play on your phone then you NEED to play on your iPad too! It's way better with the bigger screen, I feel like I can see everything and play better!
📚Reading - I use the Libby app for free ebook rentals with my library card! Its so fun to read on the iPad, I feel like I can get through more books than physical copies for some reason.
📺Netflix - this one is obvious, but if you have any show rec's for me then let me know in the comments!
... Read moreOkay, so you've got this amazing iPad, but sometimes it just sits there, right? I totally get it! I used to fall into that trap, too, thinking I'd done everything. But I've discovered so many cool tricks and apps that have totally changed how I use mine – and hopefully, they'll give you some fresh 'iPad inspo' too!
Beyond the basics, your iPad can truly become your ultimate productivity and creativity hub. Let's talk more about digital notes, for instance. While I love Goodnotes for my linear algebra notes (yes, it really helps to keep those complex equations organized!), it's also incredible for digital planning. I've started using digital planners, and seriously, the handwriting experience with the Apple Pencil is so smooth. You can create custom layouts, link pages, and even add stickers without wasting any paper. It’s perfect for staying on top of school assignments, personal goals, or just daily to-do lists. Plus, being able to search your handwritten notes is a game-changer!
And for those "creative uses for iPad" moments, don't stop at just coloring in Procreate. Have you ever tried digital journaling? There are fantastic apps that let you combine text, photos, and even little doodles to document your day or brainstorm ideas. Or, if you're into photography, apps like Lightroom Mobile turn your iPad into a powerful photo editing suite. For video, iMovie or CapCut let you edit clips right on the big screen, making it so much easier to refine your content. It’s amazing how much you can create without even touching a desktop!
When you're asking yourself, "what to do on iPad when bored," think beyond just binging Netflix. While I love a good show (and yes, the Netflix iPad app interface is fantastic on a bigger screen!), there’s a whole world of interactive learning waiting. Explore language learning apps, coding tutorials, or even virtual museum tours. And for gaming, if you're already enjoying Clash of Clans, try out some Apple Arcade titles for ad-free fun, or even explore strategy games that truly benefit from the iPad's screen real estate. The detail you can see is incredible!
Finally, let's talk about getting the most out of your actual iPad and Apple Pencil. That butterfly wallpaper on my lock screen? Just a small touch to make it feel more 'me'! You can really personalize your iPad with custom widgets and app icons. And with the Apple Pencil, explore its full potential: many apps offer different brush types, pressure sensitivity for varying line thickness, and even double-tap gestures for quick tool switching. Don't forget multitasking features like Split View, which lets you take notes on one side while watching a lecture or reading an e-book on the other. It's like having two screens in one!
There are so many cool things you can do with an iPad. Just keep experimenting with different apps and features, and I promise you'll find new ways to make it an indispensable part of your daily life. Happy iPad-ing!
