How I customized my Google Drive for school

I used to just throw all my class files into one giant folder labeled “School” and then wonder why I couldn’t find anything when I needed it 😭 But once I finally took time to customize my Google Drive, my life got SO much easier.

Here’s how I set it up to make it actually cute and functional:

📁 Main Folder: I made one folder called “📚 School” and gave it a cute emoji so it stands out. Inside that, I made a separate folder for each semester:

─ 🗓️ Fall 2024

─ 🌞 Summer 2024

─ ❄️ Spring 2024

Then inside each semester folder, I made folders for each class like this:

─ 📘 CS101 - Intro to Programming

─ 📂 Lectures & Notes

─ 📂 Assignments

─ 📂 Readings

─ 📂 Study Guides

✨ Bonus tip: I color-code each class folder to match the color I use in my planner or Canvas! This way everything visually lines up and it’s easier to stay consistent.

🔗 I also pin the main “School” folder to my quick access bar so I can jump into it without digging around.

This system helps me feel super organized and makes studying a little less stressful. Highly recommend taking 20 minutes to set it all up before the semester starts!
