Kamakura Travel

This is a photo from my trip to Kamakura. The chronological order is different.

Restaurant CARO. A long-established Western restaurant that is often used by locals. The beef stew is rich. The impression that there are many regulars in the store. I felt the same from the conversation between the clerk and the customers. It is not particularly high-class, but it is a neat shop. Rolls are warmed, coffee and tea are not the same shape, but they are distinguished from each other. The customers who came also felt somehow elegant in their clothes and behavior.

Get on and off the Enoden. On the first day I arrived, I had lunch at Breeze Bird Cafe & Bakery to celebrate my wife's birthday. I feel like there are many tourists here. I used the basic train because it was 800 yen for unlimited rides on the Enoden for one day, but this is fun when I take the local line bus! It was nice to see not only the sightseeing spot but also the casual scenery, the city, and the people. Hase-dera Temple, where the hydrangea flowers began to bloom, was crowded. Hase-dera Temple has been since I lived in Kanazawa Hakkei in Yokohama a long time ago. I don't even remember that the hydrangea path was a steep slope. The view of the sea from the precincts was wonderful. I was thankful that the hotel I stayed at was near the station (about 1 minute on foot!). The taste of the Western-style building is wonderful. There is a vestige from the Taisho era. The main building had a shared bus and toilet, but there was no problem at all. Is it because it is not posted on the reservation site, is it a little-known existence? Although it was only a meal, there were many shops around, so I could spend it without having to worry about eating and shopping.

I like to stop by a local supermarket as one of the pleasures of traveling. Kinokuniya was also good, but the Motomachi Union Kamakura store in the last photo was good. This is also a high-class supermarket. It seems that it was founded in Yokohama in 1958. Now it is managed by Keikyu. Some of the logo goods of the store are collaborating with BEAMS, and it feels pretty good. I bought a small canvas bag.
