My journey on TikTok started quite spontaneously, fueled by a desire to share authentic moments of my life as a 'mama' and engage with a vibrant community. I'm a mother of two, and believe me, juggling family life with creating content can be a whirlwind, but it's also incredibly rewarding. Many of you often ask what my day looks like, and honestly, no two days are exactly alike! From getting the kids ready for school to handling household chores, there's always something to do. But in between, I find joy in capturing snippets of our lives, whether it's a funny family moment, a cooking tutorial for a traditional Tanzanian dish, or simply sharing my thoughts on motherhood. I love picking out a nice 'gaunii' (dress) for my videos, and it always makes my day when you comment, 'Umependeza!' or 'We dada mzuri!' – thank you for your kind words, they truly mean a lot. One topic that often comes up in my comments, and I've seen it in the OCR too, is about beauty and self-care, particularly 'michirizi' (stretch marks). It's a common concern for many mamas, and I've had my own journey with it. Society often puts pressure on us to bounce back immediately, but I believe in embracing our bodies and focusing on health and well-being. I've tried a few natural remedies and products, and while I'm not an expert, I'm always open to sharing what has worked for me or listening to your suggestions. Sometimes I see questions like 'dawa ya kufuta michirizi bei gn' (how much for medicine to remove stretch marks), and it reminds me that we're all looking for solutions and support. It's important to remember that every mama's journey is unique, and self-love is the most beautiful thing. My TikTok is a space where I aim to be real. I don't pretend that every day is perfect; there are 'sugu sasa' (stubborn now) moments, challenges, and exhaustion, just like any parent experiences.
