I'M JUST A VESSEL. 🤎🙏

Reflecting on my own spiritual journey, I have often struggled with the desire to be seen as strong, talented, and capable in my faith community. Like many, I once believed that earning admiration and recognition was a sign of spiritual success. However, over time, I learned that relying on my own strength left me feeling empty and disconnected from the divine presence I sought. The message that resonates deeply is the idea that we are not called to carry the glory ourselves, but to serve as vessels through which God's power flows. This perspective helped me see that brokenness and vulnerability are not disqualifiers but essential parts of being human and growing spiritually. In fact, it is through our cracks—the moments of doubt, failure, and pain—that God’s light can shine the brightest. Embracing this truth invites a humble heart that willingly surrenders, acknowledging that the source of power and transformation is not within us but from God. I remember times when I felt shattered and inadequate, yet those were moments when I sensed God's grace most profoundly. Like clay in the potter’s hands, we are shaped through surrender and trust, not by our perfection. This mindset shift transformed my faith walk, turning it from one of self-driven achievement to one of receptive service. It allowed me to let go of the need for applause or status and focus instead on being available and open to God's work. I have found peace and purpose in simply saying, "Use me, Lord," trusting that even in my imperfection, I am enough. The journey is ongoing, and like many, I still face moments of temptation to seek recognition. Yet, remembering that I am just a vessel encourages perseverance, hope, and a deeper connection with God. This perspective can inspire others who feel unqualified or broken to recognize their value and potential as part of a larger divine plan, reminding us all that God's power is made perfect in our weaknesses.
