Bleeding Truth

I wanted to be worthy.

I thought if I worked harder, prayed longer, and carried less baggage, maybe God could finally use me.

But I've learned something.

God doesn't use perfect people.

He uses people who are honest enough to bring Him their scars.

For years I thought pain was punishment.

I thought every closed door was rejection.

I thought silence meant God had forgotten me.

But now I understand.

Sometimes God is building something in the dark that the light can't rush.

The betrayal, The loss.

The waiting, The struggle.

None of it was wasted.

What I thought would break me became the very thing God used to strengthen me.

Today I'm still standing.

Not because life was easy.

But because God was faithful.

And if you're walking through a hard season right now, don't give up.

God may be preparing you for a version of yourself you haven't met yet. 🤎🙏

... Read moreReading this reflection, I was deeply moved by the honesty about struggling with feelings of unworthiness and the journey toward trusting God's plan. In my own experience, I've found that times of waiting and difficulty often come with hidden lessons that only become clear in hindsight. One thing that stands out is the idea that God doesn't require perfection but invites us to bring our scars honestly to Him. In moments when I’ve felt broken or overlooked, rather than punishment, these times have taught me resilience and ushered in personal transformation. The notion that "what breaks you today can make you unshakable tomorrow" truly resonates; it encourages embracing hardship as part of growth rather than defeat. As someone who has faced betrayal, loss, and uncertainty, I have learned that faith is often tested in the dark seasons where answers aren’t immediate. Holding on to trust during silence and closed doors has meant surrendering control and believing something meaningful is being built beyond what our eyes can see. This perspective reframes pain from a curse to a preparation. It reminds me that spiritual strength comes not from perfection but from stepping forward with courage despite imperfections and scars. For anyone walking a tough path, this message offers hope that the waiting and struggles are not wasted but purposefully shaping a better version of ourselves. If you are feeling discouraged or forgotten, consider this: the journey through hardship is deeply personal but universally human, filled with opportunities to deepen faith and reshape identity. Sharing such testimonials helps build a community where vulnerability is embraced, and healing is possible. It encourages us to continue praying, persevering, and believing in a faithful God who is constantly working toward our transformation.
