Get your braids to last longer
Knotless braids aren’t meant to last 3 months - but they shouldn’t last a week either (unless you’re ready to take them out) so I included 3 ways that’ll help keep your hair looking fresh longer.
👒Wrap your hair EVERY NIGHT or have a SATIN pillowcase. I thought the pillowcase was a scam - it is not lol - it’s amazing but remember satin stains so don’t oil your scalp - wear no bonnet and lay down - you’ll wake up looking like a crunch bar.
🧴Use mousse or a wrap setting lotion when you’re feeling frizzy! It’s not a save all - but it does help tame the hair without alot of build up like you would see if you used a heavy gel/edge control.
👩🏽🦱 Oil your scalp! It’s exposed lol now I know a lot of people say “don’t oil your scalp” but I think it depends on the oil and I’ve been have my my scalp oiled since a baby. 😂😂 If you are overwhelmed by the oil game - start with Jojoba Oil - it’s the oil that mimics our scalps sebum the most. That way you don’t feel weighed down or build up.
