What’s your hair type?

First off - ALL HAIR IS GOOD HAIR!

When you have curly hair, most likely you need moisture. Think of your hair as a slide, remember that sticky slide on the playground that would exfoliate your legs? That’s moisture going down your hair shaft, sometimes it stops and your ends remain dry.

When you have loose spiral or ringlet curls, using light weight creams and sprays will be your best friend. You need a product that won’t weigh you down but packs a punch.

1. Using conditioner is CRUCIAL. Deep conditioning is also very helpful. All you have to do is put a processing cap on (plastic cap/shower cap) and let the conditioner sit for about 20-30 minutes. Wash it out and BOOM hydration. The cap is holding in that heat that is going to open up your cuticle and allow that conditioner to get in and repair or hydrate.

2. Leave in conditioner is just conditioner that isn’t as heavy. So you need something that you don’t rinse out because your hair has to get it’s moisture.

3. Avoid high heat when blow drying or using an flat/curling iron. You know the drill: heat damage is a no no and you gotta protect your curls! Make sure you use a heat protectant that will protect up to 450 degrees.

4. I would suggest buying a shower comb -I thought they were a scam (as always) and I was blown away! Before bleaching my hair - my texture was a 4B/C mix and bayyyybaaaayyy that comb got in the and moved through it like butterrrrrr. I’ll do a review over brushes so y’all know what I’m taking about 🥰
