It's so exciting to finally share more about myself here on Lemon8! Building Content Connect with my best friend has been an incredible journey. We started our digital advertising agency in 2023, but honestly, we've been helping businesses connect with their audiences for nearly a decade as freelancers. Our passion? Crafting compelling social media strategies and building stunning, functional websites that truly represent a brand. My background in photography, journalism, and advertising through college wasn't just a degree; it was igniting a lifelong passion for visual storytelling and impactful communication. I've always believed that every brand has a unique story, and my goal is to help them tell it beautifully. Whether it's through captivating visuals I've learned to compose from years of photography, or through concise, persuasive copy honed through journalism, these skills are at the heart of what we do at Content Connect. I've been taking photos for 5+ years, including film photography, and I truly believe understanding the visual aspect is key to strong social media accounts and website building. And yes, about the modeling! It might seem like a jump from digital advertising, but my experiences modeling for everything from playground companies to boudoir across Europe (Greece, Italy, France!) taught me so much about confidence, presentation, and understanding different cultures. It gave me a unique perspective on how to present oneself and a brand authentically. It also taught me the power of visual communication and how to work with a team to bring a vision to life – skills that are surprisingly transferable to running a digital agency! Moving to Louisville, Kentucky last year has also been an adventure! While I grew up in a small town in Indiana, exploring a vibrant city like Louisville has been inspiring. It's a great place for creatives and entrepreneurs, and I'm loving discovering new spots and connecting with the local community. I'm always looking for new inspiration, whether it's through local art, new culinary experiences, or just observing trends. I'm so excited to share more of my journey and insights here on Lemon8.
