At 35, how my lumbar disc herniation got better... 🤔

I used to think there was no other way for lumbar disc herniation except surgery. 😰

Every time my lower back hurt, my legs went numb, and I couldn't sit or lie down comfortably, I would ask around everywhere and get ready to have surgery. 😣

But whenever I thought about how painful and difficult the recovery period would be, I just couldn't make up my mind. 😩

Later, I talked with a friend who studies medicine, and then I realized that more than 90% of lumbar disc herniations don't need surgery at all. 🙏

Surgery is not a once-and-for-all solution. As long as bad habits don't change and blood circulation in the lower back is poor, recurrence is very normal. ⚠️

After figuring that out, I honestly started conservative care: 📝

Strict bed rest during the acute phase. 🛏️

Lie flat on a firm bed, with a small rolled towel under the lower back. It can give the lumbar spine support and reduce the feeling of pressure. 💪

Keep using the Huayilang Patch. 👏

About ten minutes after putting it on, the pain is clearly reduced, and one patch lasts for more than ten hours. 😌

It has pressure support plus active ingredient penetration, which can reduce inflammation and relieve soreness, swelling, and tightness. 🛡️

After using it consistently for about two weeks, it basically stopped hurting. 🗓️

Change bad habits. 🔄Get up and walk around every hour after sitting. 🚶

When lifting heavy things, bend your knees first before bending your waist, and don't let the lower back stay under pressure all the time. 💪

Lumbar disc herniation is a problem that comes from daily life details over time. ⏳

It does not mean everything is fine just because you have surgery. If it is not a particularly serious situation, there really is no need to suffer through surgery! ❤️

... Read moreLiving with lumbar disc herniation can be incredibly challenging, but my journey taught me that surgery isn’t the only answer—even though initially, it felt like the inevitable step. After understanding that over 90% of cases don’t require surgical intervention, I committed myself to conservative treatment methods that truly made a difference. I found that strict bed rest during the acute phase was crucial. Lying flat on a firm surface with a small rolled towel placed under my lower back helped support my spine and relieve pressure. This simple adjustment significantly reduced discomfort and prevented aggravation of the herniated disc. Another key aspect of my recovery was the consistent use of the Huayilang Patch. Applying it brought noticeable pain relief within just ten minutes and lasted for over ten hours each time. This patch combines pressure support with active ingredients that penetrate the skin to reduce inflammation, swelling, and muscle tightness. Over about two weeks, the pain subsided dramatically, which motivated me to keep adhering to my treatment plan. Changing my daily habits was perhaps the hardest but most rewarding part of healing. I made a point to stand up and walk around at least once every hour after sitting to enhance blood circulation in my lower back. Also, when lifting anything heavy, I consciously bent my knees first rather than my waist, protecting my spine from sustained pressure. This mindful movement helped prevent flare-ups and promoted ongoing spinal health. My experience underscored that lumbar disc herniation often stems from lifestyle factors accumulated over time. Surgery might seem like a quick fix, but without addressing the root causes and modifying habits, recurring pain is very likely. By using conservative care methods and being patient, I managed to regain my mobility and live pain-free without undergoing surgery. For anyone struggling with similar back issues, I recommend exploring non-surgical treatments alongside professional guidance. Practices like supporting your lumbar spine properly, applying targeted patches, and altering everyday behaviors can be empowering steps toward recovery. Remember, healing is possible with the right approach and commitment, even when the situation seems tough.
