I went through a similar situation last year. Hadba bloodclot block my aorta. The er doc refused to believe that there was anything wrong and accused me of being a drug seeker. Another dr read my cat scan and found the blood clot but by then my legs had been without bloodflow for almost 8 hours and I was septic. I spent months in pt learning to walk again. I also have swelling in both legs when I sit too long. but I am now putting my life back together. Stay strong, things will get better.
