First things first: the setup. You don't necessarily need a fancy tent, though it definitely adds to the ambiance! A large sheet draped over chairs or a pop-up play tent works just as well. The key is to make it super cozy. Pile up blankets, pillows, and sleeping bags to create the ultimate comfy nest. Fairy lights or battery-operated lanterns are a must to cast that magical, starry night glow. Don't forget a portable speaker for some relaxing nature sounds or a fun playlist to set the mood! Now for the best part: the activities! We love to tell spooky (but not too spooky!) stories by flashlight. Board games, card games, or even charades become ten times more fun inside a blanket fort. Just make sure they have their own comfy spot inside the 'campsite.' A dog bed, their favorite blanket, and a bowl of water nearby will keep them happy and part of the fun. Our dog absolutely loved snuggling up with us, adding to the warmth and coziness of our indoor adventure. Cozy pajamas are a must, along with extra blankets. You can even project a winter scene onto a wall to feel like you're truly out in nature, but without the frostbite!
