I cannot tell you how excited I have been for release day. I stayed up until I had access to this novel and then devoured it like a starving woman. A. Duncan did not disappoint.
This was an emotional one for me. I will insert here a massive trigger warning for DV. It was emotional to read for me because of that.
Alexis as a mom was absolutely everything I hoped for. I love how fiercely she protects her. I don’t want to offer up to many things because spoilers and I’m not that kind of reader. Just know that if you loved Book 1, you will love Book 2.
I’m almost sad I read through it so fast, but I’d honestly do it again. 🤭 I have no self control when it comes to great authors and the brilliance they create on a page.
