This is such a great read. It’s heavy spicy, but also just a good bit of fun. Maddison recently graduated with her MBA and has applied for her dream job. The only problem is all four of her bosses are H.O.T! But when they make her an offer she can’t refuse will she accept it, or reject it?

I love a good female main character who is presented in the beginning as a strong lead and not just beauty. Her accomplishments are the first thing we learn about her, her drive and work ethic. Even the men in their admiration speak of how smart she is, how kind and funny. It almost feels like how beautiful she is a secondary thought.

And a good reverse harem needs good male main characters. Not to pick favorites, but Noah really pulls at my heartstrings from the start. We get to see glimpses of him in some stories they tell or memories they have. However, I do enjoy all of the guys. I do like the sparks of jealousy a bit, gives it a more realistic feel to it.

Pacing is nicely done throughout the novel. Strong character development as we get to know each of them. Multiple POVs help with that as well, getting both Madison and her men’s inner thoughts.

Talk about a cliffhanger…WOW! We are pulled right to the edge and pushed right off. Thankfully the next novel is out and I can go devour it as well.

... Read moreOne of the standout features of 'Watch Me' by C.S. Berry is how the novel breaks typical romance tropes by highlighting Maddison’s intelligence and ambition first, rather than just her physical appearance. As someone who appreciates novels where a female lead’s achievements and personality take center stage, I found this refreshing and empowering. It’s not just about romance, but also about a woman who owns her space in a competitive work environment. The reverse harem element introduces a compelling dynamic, especially with the character Noah, who expresses vulnerability and emotional depth that adds richness to the story. The jealousy and interactions among the male characters contribute to a believable and engaging relationship setup, making the story feel more authentic and less predictable. The pacing throughout the book is carefully balanced. It provides enough time for readers to immerse in each character’s interior world through multiple viewpoints, which adds to the emotional investment in the story. The inner thoughts of both Maddison and her bosses reveal layers beyond surface attraction, deepening the narrative. Readers who enjoy billionaire romance with a spicy twist will find this novel satisfying, especially with its blend of humor, drama, and steamy scenes. The cliffhanger ending leaves you eagerly anticipating the sequel, which is a testament to C.S. Berry’s skill in keeping readers engaged. For fans of romantic stories that combine professional ambition, personal growth, and complex relationships, 'Watch Me' offers a thrilling and enjoyable read. Whether you’re new to the reverse harem genre or already a fan, the strong character development and emotional depth make this novel stand out.
