Sometimes this is what workouts at home look like when both baby’s won’t nap! Workout definitely took longer then anticipated, but that’s ok! We got it done!

Balancing workouts at home while caring for two babies under two can be a real challenge. From personal experience, I’ve found that flexibility and patience are key. One day, my goal might be a 30-minute Pilates session, but when the babies refuse to nap, I end up stretching that time much longer. However, the important part is that the workout gets done, no matter how long it takes. Using short bursts of activity or integrating exercises while attending to the babies helps keep momentum. For example, doing Pilates moves during baby playtime or while holding one of them can make a difference. The #pilatesbyizzy challenge encourages adjusting routines to fit your day, which is vital especially during postpartum recovery periods like six weeks after birth. It’s also motivating to follow online communities with moms sharing their journey, which provides not only workout ideas but emotional support. Despite the unpredictability of two under two, consistent effort contributes greatly to regaining strength and improving well-being. Remember, it’s not about perfection but dedication—working out as you can, when you can.
Bravo!!!! I could never figure out how to do a workout with my babies around. I had to get up before them so I could have a workout.
