Here I am… the sun ☀️ shining, warm and golden… and the moon 🌙 showed in that sky behind us 🥹 soft and glowing…like Luna’s light, still finding its way to send me a sign.
Life has been quiet, in the way it gets after your heart’s been broken more than once.
And in that quiet, I felt them… Luna and Sol.
The love that never left. The light that still finds me.
Grief changed me. It broke me open more than once.
But standing there, under that fall sky,
I felt something I haven’t felt in a long time…
hope ❤️🩹
And deep down, I know this little one carries pieces of them…the warmth of the sun, the glow of the moon, and the kind of love only they could’ve sent. 💛
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t terrified… because I am, but I hold on to that hope and the light of my girls 💜🌙☀️@battle_dispatch_dreams

Grief is an intensely personal journey, and finding ways to reconnect with love and hope after loss can feel daunting. The symbolism of Luna and Sol—the moon and the sun—beautifully illustrates how light can persist even in the darkest times. Just as the sun shines warmly and the moon glows softly in the sky, their presence can remind us that love transcends absence and that healing is possible. During seasons of grief, it's common to experience profound silence and stillness, which, although painful, offer moments for reflection and renewal. The fall sky, with its gentle transition, mirrors this process of change and the emergence of new hope. Holding onto symbols like Luna and Sol can help transform sorrow into a source of strength and comfort. Moreover, embracing hope doesn't mean forgetting or moving on too quickly. It means acknowledging the pain while recognizing the enduring connection with those we've lost. Many find solace in rituals or visual reminders that keep the memory alive—like seeing the glow of the moon or the warmth of the sun as messages from their loved ones. It's natural to feel fear when stepping forward after heartbreak, especially when new beginnings seem uncertain. But those feelings coexist with hope, which acts as a gentle light guiding us through grief's shadows. Tools like journaling, support groups, or creative expression can reinforce this hopeful outlook, helping individuals process their emotions authentically. Incorporating these elements into daily life builds resilience and fosters healing. Luna and Sol become more than celestial bodies; they become anchors that hold our memories and love, shining light on a path toward peace. For anyone navigating the complexities of loss, remember: each ray of light, however small, is a sign that hope persists and love never truly fades.
