Hey amazing mamas! So many of you asked about my fitness routine and how I manage to squeeze in a workout with two little ones running around, especially after seeing my recent full day vlog. Honestly, it's a journey, not a destination, and some days are definitely easier than others! One of the biggest game-changers for me has been embracing flexibility. My mornings often start early, sometimes even before the kids are fully awake. That precious quiet time around 9:30 AM, after breakfast and getting everyone settled, is when I try to fit in my glute workout. It's not always a gym trip; sometimes it's a quick session right in my living room. For my glute focus, I swear by a few basics: resistance band squats and glute bridges are fantastic for activating those muscles. I’ll usually do 3 sets of 15-20 reps for each, really focusing on the squeeze. Then I might add some donkey kicks or fire hydrants for extra burn. It’s quick, effective, and doesn't require much equipment, which is perfect for busy mornings. But fitness isn't just about the workout, right? It's about the whole healthy lifestyle. For me, that means prioritizing hydration – I always have a water bottle handy. Meal prepping on a Saturday, July 6th (or any weekend day, really!) has been a lifesaver. Even just chopping veggies for the week or making a big batch of quinoa saves so much time during hectic weekdays. I aim for balanced meals, but I'm also realistic. If we're having a movie night with the kids, a little treat is part of enjoying life! Finding balance as a mom of 2 means understanding that perfect doesn’t exist. Some days, my workout might be chasing toddlers at the park instead of lifting weights, and that's okay! It's about movement and joy. I also make sure to carve out time for things that recharge *me*. Whether it's a quick coffee with a friend or even just 15 minutes of quiet reading after the kids are asleep, those moments are crucial. The "reality" of it all is that consistency beats intensity. Even 20-30 minutes of intentional movement makes a huge difference, both physically and mentally. Don't beat yourself up if you miss a day. Just get back to it the next. Remember that healthy isn't just about looking a certain way; it's about feeling energized, strong, and happy enough to tackle whatever your amazing day throws at you, whether it’s a full glute workout or just surviving till bedtime!
