I normally cook to taste and not use many measurements but I really need to learn some new recipes lol!
If you're new to cooking like many of us, starting with simple recipes that use fresh, wholesome ingredients is a great way to build confidence in the kitchen. This spinach and egg dish is a perfect example—it combines basic pantry staples like vegetable oil and Himalayan pink salt with fresh spinach and a flavorful Mexican cheese blend for a nutritious, satisfying meal. A few tips for beginners: always use quality ingredients such as natural Himalayan salt, which adds a subtle mineral richness, and opt for fresh spinach whenever possible to maximize nutrients. Cooking without precise measurements can sometimes feel daunting, but as you practice, you'll develop an instinct for balancing flavors and textures. In addition, incorporating side dishes like frozen blueberries drizzled with honey is a smart choice. Blueberries are packed with antioxidants and natural sweetness, and honey adds a natural, healthy touch without the processed sugar. Try cooking at a moderate heat using vegetable oil with a high smoke point, such as sunflower or soy blend oils, which helps avoid burning your food while keeping it light. Adding fresh herbs like basil enhances aroma and flavor, making your simple dishes more appetizing without much effort. Remember, cooking is a skill learned with time and practice—don’t hesitate to experiment with ingredients and seasoning. Starting with easy-to-prepare meals like this breakfast will encourage you to explore more recipes and develop your unique cooking style.
