Jayce Did NOTHING Wrong

It feels like he's constantly under fire for every decision, but when you really dive into his journey and the immense pressure he was under, his intentions were always pure and aimed at progress. From the very beginning, Jayce's motivation was to unite magic and science, to create Hextech for the betterment of humanity. He wasn't chasing power or wealth; he genuinely wanted to make lives better. His early experiments, though risky, stemmed from a place of innovation and a desire to help. He was an idealist, trying to bring light into a world that was often dark and cynical. When he was pushed into politics by figures like Mel Medarda, he wasn't seeking political power for himself. He was a scientist trying to navigate a complex political landscape, often making peace-driven choices that, while imperfect, aimed to prevent further conflict between Piltover and Zaun. Many criticize his relationship with Viktor, but I think he genuinely cared for his friend and their shared dream. His decisions regarding Viktor's condition were agonizing and driven by concern, not malice. He was trying to protect Viktor, even if he didn't always know the best way how. He's often painted as naive or easily influenced, and while that might be true to an extent, being naive is a far cry from being malicious or intentionally harmful. He was a good person trying his best in morally ambiguous situations. Honestly, when I hear people piling on Jayce's perceived flaws, I just let out a frustrated [groans]! It's like they're missing the bigger picture or ignoring the context of his difficult choices. Now, for those of you who might have stumbled upon this post searching for 'ENHYPEN Jayce' or 'Jayce and ENHYPEN,' I totally get how names can cause confusion! Just to clarify, this whole discussion is about Jayce Talis, the brilliant inventor from the Netflix series Arcane.
