Happy to Not be Christian
Is anyone else on here NOT a Christian or believe in anything else other than? I grew up Baptist and in church and I never believed a word of it even as a child. I am 25 and recently told my mom , who obviously is upset but I do not care. These beliefs have nothing to do with trauma, past relationships, lack of father/ mother in life, or anything. They are just simply my beliefs. Also, how come once you come out as a non- believer people believe it’s their RIGHT to tell me what I should believe in or that I believe in satan? If I didn’t believe in one what makes you think im believing in the other 🤔? I have a wide variety of friends with different religions and we all talk openly. Also, just because someone doesn’t believe doesn’t make them a bad person. I love animals and people. I often help with volunteer work for elderly and children. We are still good people. Hey as a baby Christian, I can tell you that my family and I don’t believe you believe in Satan or going to hell. In my opinion I will gladly share my belief with you but won’t judge because that is how I grew up. You are welcomed here and into the kingdom may it be your choice but just know u are loved
