I went to see the sea of clouds at Takeda Castle ✨

But the next day, the rain just stopped, so we left at 5am!
Borrow a flashlight from the inn, to the dark mountain road 🔦
There are "gentle road" and "steep road," and I chose the steep road to arrive early.

When I was walking, I heard from behind, "Rustling..."
Early in the morning, adrenaline 😂
The footing was also bad, I climbed a step of about 40 cm many times, about 40 minutes while my heart was about to pop out.

As much as I was scared and climbed,
It was such a superb view that I thought, "I'm glad I climbed up!"
On the way back, I walked a gentle road,
On the way, I found a rock that does not fall 👀
On the way home, I met a deer 🦌

竹田城の雲海は、特に秋から冬にかけての晴れた早朝に見られることが多く、条件がそろうとまるで空に浮かんだ城のような光景が広がります。私も初めて見たときは、早朝の静けさと相まって本当に幻想的で感動しました。 登山ルートは、体力に自信があるなら険しい道がおすすめです。看板にクマの注意喚起があり緊張感もありましたが、周囲の自然音に耳をすませながら登ると、不思議と自然との一体感を感じられます。懐中電灯の光を頼りに進む山道は想像以上に足元が不安定なので、履き慣れた登山靴やトレッキングシューズが必須です。 登頂後に見られる雲海は一瞬で変わることもあり、急に霧が晴れたり深くなったりするため、できるだけ長く滞在して岸辺のような広がる白い海をじっくり楽しむのがおすすめです。帰り道のなだらかなルートの途中にある「落ちない岩」は、実際に触ってその安定感を確かめるのも旅の醍醐味。野生の鹿に遭遇したのは、不思議な気持ちとほのかな安心感を与えてくれました。 また、竹田城跡は歴史的遺産としても非常に魅力的で、戦国時代の雰囲気を感じられます。観光客が増える日は早朝の訪問が混雑を避けられるので、静かな時間に絶景を堪能したい方に特におすすめです。交通アクセスは和田山ICを利用し、竹田駅からも徒歩でアクセス可能。ぜひ次の旅の計画に加えてみてください。
