from basic to alt 🖤

Here's the evolution of my look over 7 years. Finding a look that feels most authentic to myself has been a very long journey & i really love looking back and seeing how much both my style and self have grown. If you're new to alternative fashion, don't worry if it feels like you don't have the right look just yet! At 18, i didn't know when to pick up the pieces after trying to be someone i really wasn't. Even at the beginning of college i felt a lot of pressure to "fit in" with the crowd. I never felt like i fit in though, and more often felt the blonde hair and light clothes were a costume. Don't let anyone else dictate what you should enjoy! its your life to live anyways. 🦇🖤🌞 #alternativefit #alternativefashion #gothgirl #gothaesthetic #gothmakeup

... Read moreFrom 2018 to 2025, my fashion journey has been a transformative experience. Starting from basic looks, I transitioned through distinct styles like 'skater vibe' in 2019, 'soft girl era' in 2020, to 'fairy core' in 2021. By 2022, I embraced an experimental aesthetic, culminating in 2023 with a strong preference for black that resonates with my current vibe. It's essential to remember that fashion is not about conforming to trends but expressing who you truly are. Embracing alternative fashion allows individuals to break away from societal norms and explore unique identities. Fashion evolves, and as we grow, our styles should reflect our inner selves. If you're new to this world, take your time to experiment and discover what resonates with you. Don't hesitate to embrace the change; every style phase is a stepping stone toward your authentic self!

the evolution of my look was way less linear 😂 i dressed sorta emo/scene, then i would only wear yellow and orange and pink, then i would wear black and white, and now i would consider my style to be goth/punk
