My crochet wip became the perfect blanket for her

I decided to use the rest of the skeins I have on the front and back panel of this sweater and then use a different yarn for the sleeves and then a different yarn for the collar and wrists. I knew starting this sweater I wanted the cuffs to be snug and this yarn is so thin and stretchy it wouldn’t make a good cuff. I think I will use it for the ribbing on the bottom though bc I don’t want the waist to stick out too much #crochet #crochetdiary

When selecting yarn for your project, consider not only the color but also the texture and durability of the yarn. Blending different yarn types can lead to unique results, enhancing both warmth and style. For example, using a thin, stretchy yarn may work well for cuffs but not for structural elements of a blanket. It’s essential to balance aesthetics with function. Additionally, utilizing remnants from previous projects can reduce waste while providing a personal touch to your crochet creations. Patterns can range from simple to complex, so don't hesitate to explore different stitches and techniques to elevate your work. Just from what I'm seeing it looks really cute and creative. I like how the colors balance and stick out amongst one another. Also, what's the little gatita's name, she looks so cute and cozy!🙌🏻💖
