I failed.

Soooo I failed. I was making my nieces birthday cake and in the midst of everything forgot to flour the butterfly cake pan 🤦🏼‍♀️ (rookie mistake I know). Luckily I was already planning to do a sheet cake so a random box of cake came in clutch. Also, I’m so thankful my parents stopped at Michael’s while out and about the day before and grabbed the sprinkles & decor.

Then when I thought the cake could be salvaged… my brother’s cat snuck on the counter (that I had just cleaned) and ate half of the butterfly. However, my niece loved her cake & the fact I blew up all her balloons by mouth (my lungs hated me though). #lemon8baking #Lemon8Diary #fails
