You know, one of the most exciting parts of launching a new novel, especially a fantasy one like my #BriarthorneUni: The Lost Boy Book Two, is finally revealing the cover! It's truly the soul of the book in a single image, and I poured so much thought and emotion into creating it. When you look at the cover, you'll see this striking golden wolf silhouette emerging from a deep, enchanting forest. For me, the wolf symbolizes strength, instinct, and a certain wild freedom, which is so central to the journey of Cian and the other characters in this installment. The forest itself isn't just a pretty background; it represents the hidden depths and ancient secrets awaiting discovery in #BriarthorneUni. Around the wolf, you'll notice it's encircled by chains and stars. The chains are a visual metaphor for the challenges, bindings, and perhaps even the destiny that traps our characters, while the stars hint at magic, hope, and the cosmic forces at play in their world. It’s all about the balance between confinement and aspiration. Adding to this intricate design are delicate pine branches and a beautiful butterfly design. The pine branches bring in that touch of nature and resilience, hinting at the enduring spirit within the magical academy. And the butterfly? Ah, that’s a special element for me. It signifies transformation, growth, and the delicate dance of change that all the characters, especially those like Dr. Nocte or even The Astral Unicorn, undergo. It’s a subtle nod to the evolution of their stories and personalities. Working on this cover with my designer was an incredible experience. We went back and forth, exploring different concepts to truly capture the essence of 'The Lost Boy Book Two.' I wanted something that would intrigue readers, tell a bit of the story without giving everything away, and stand out in the fantasy genre. Seeing it all come together, from the initial sketches to the final artwork, was just magical. It’s not just a picture; it’s a promise of the adventure within.
