How i made my song book !!

first things first : I'm not in 3rd grade. I just found this notebook for cheap, and I figured I'd get it 😭

also, I primarily use this book for stringed instruments (bass/guitar), but honestly, you could use it for any. this is a really good way to your songs down on paper if you forget them easily and it also it a good way to use your spare time !! #guitar #songs #songbook

... Read moreIf you're a musician looking to keep your songs organized and easily accessible, creating your own songbook can be a rewarding project. Start with a simple composition book, preferably one that allows you ample room to write song lyrics and notations. Begin by jotting down the song titles at the top of each page, ensuring to note the instrument applicable for each song (for instance, guitar or bass) along with the difficulty level as per your assessment. Next, draw lines on the page to represent the strings of your instrument. If you're working with a guitar, label each string and indicate the tuning used for the song. This way, you can customize your entries based on personal preferences. Additionally, feel free to write any specific notes related to the song, such as the number of times to repeat certain sections, rhythm patterns, or even the use of a capo. The process not only helps embed the songs in your memory but also transforms your spare time into a productive activity. If you stick with this routine, your collection will grow, and you'll enjoy revisiting your favorite tracks. Moreover, using hashtags within your entries (like #guitar or #songs) can help categorize them for quicker references in the future. Crafting your own songbook is all about making the music you love more structured and accessible!
