New Year, New Art
It's 2026 so I should probably start up again.
I'm really hoping this year brings some positive turns for me. I'll be working on new artwork and hopefully churning out designs for merchandise as well, focusing on constellations.
New art will be posted soon
Starting the new year with a clear artistic vision can be incredibly motivating. Many artists find that setting themes, like focusing on constellations, helps spark creativity and builds a cohesive portfolio. From my experience, developing designs that incorporate celestial elements not only taps into a timeless fascination but also allows for unique interpretations through traditional art mediums. One effective approach is to study star maps and constellation lore, which can inspire symbolic meanings behind each piece. Using various traditional techniques, such as watercolor or ink drawings, brings a tactile quality that resonates with art lovers who appreciate handcrafted work. The key to growth this year will be balancing experimentation with consistent practice, as this will gradually refine your style and help develop a recognizable artistic voice. Merchandise is also a powerful way to share your art beyond galleries or online posts. When turning your constellation art into merchandise like prints, apparel, or accessories, consider how to maintain the original artwork's integrity while making it accessible and wearable. This dual approach of creating new art and building a merchandise line can open exciting opportunities for collaboration and audience engagement throughout 2026.
