Driving from Wisconsin to Massachusetts
I had it on my bucket list to actually use my vacation time to travel. I took a week off and spent it driving from Wisconsin to Salem, Massachusetts.
The first half of the trip was with my parents, where we went digging for Herkimer Diamonds in /Herkimer and spent time with friends and other gem and mineral lovers.
I then took the rest of the week and went on solo hikes in the /Adirondack Mountains and /Taughannock Falls Gorge Trail . I then made it to /Salem and spent time exploring the docks and shops during one of the festivals. And as a final stop before driving back home, I went and saw the ocean for the first time. I didn't have a pass to park and go swimming, but it was still a breathtaking view. 😍
