Apple Butter Cold Foam Latte
🍎 to celebrate the fall right around the corner 🍁 🍂 Here’s an iced latte made with BelleWood Farms apple butter. The apple butter tastes sweet and just slightly spiced, it’s perfect. To put myself in a good mood I thought why not make a sweet treat this morning?
To make this simply make the shaken latte listed below, then pour into a cup over ice. Add a little milk on top or even more than me if you want a lighter espresso taste. Top off with the cold foam recipe and a dash of cinnamon.
Shaken latte:
- pinch salt
- double shot espresso ☕️
- 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup
- 1 heaping tablespoon apple butter
- scoop ice
Cold Foam:
- 4 tablespoons dairy free heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon dairy free creamer
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
It might be too early to find apple butter at the grocery store but in a few weeks it should easier. Hopefully you enjoy this as much as I do! #fallcoffeeflavors #goodfoodgoodmood #lemon8food #lemon8challenge #fallvibes🍂
As autumn approaches, I’ve found that incorporating seasonal ingredients like apple butter into my coffee routine is a great way to enhance the cozy fall atmosphere. Apple butter, with its sweet and subtly spiced flavor, adds a unique twist to the classic iced latte. When I first tried using apple butter in my latte, I was surprised by how well it complemented the rich espresso and the subtle sweetness from maple syrup. I recommend using a high-quality apple butter like BelleWood Farms’ to really capture those deep fall flavors. The pinch of salt in the shaken latte balances the sweetness and intensifies the espresso’s rich notes. The cold foam topping is another highlight—using dairy-free heavy cream and creamer with maple syrup creates a luscious, velvety foam that adds both texture and a hint of sweetness. If you prefer a lighter coffee taste, adding more milk after pouring the shaken latte over ice makes this drink customizable to your preference. Though apple butter may be a seasonal item and could be harder to find early in the fall, many grocery stores start stocking it as the season progresses, so keep an eye out! Making this drink at home is also a budget-friendly way to enjoy fall-inspired coffee shop vibes without the premium price. For those who enjoy experimenting, you could try adding a touch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the cold foam topping for extra warmth. This easy recipe is excellent not just for mornings but as an afternoon pick-me-up to brighten your day with cozy autumn flavors.
