「ホテルインディゴ箱根強羅」は、“観光を詰め込む箱根”というより、ホテルでゆっくり過ごす箱根ホカンス派にめちゃくちゃ相性がいい宿でした。特に検索でも多い「客室温泉」目的なら、全室客室露天風呂付きなのが安心ポイント。チェックインしたらまずお部屋でひと息ついて、川のせせらぎを聞きながら露天風呂→湯上がりにミニバーで乾杯…の流れが最高でした。私が良かったと思った過ごし方は、1日目は“ホテルを満喫する日”にすること。宿泊者無料の水着混浴できる温泉プールは、カップルで一緒に入れるので記念日っぽさが出ます。写真も撮りやすい雰囲気で、プールサイドのソファでのんびりできるのも◎。そのあと足湯カフェ（ロビー周辺）で温まりながらおしゃべりすると、移動少なめでも満足度が高かったです。お部屋は和モダンで、寄木細工っぽいデザインやモノクロアートなど「箱根らしさ＋今っぽさ」が混ざっていて、ホカンス気分が上がりました。客室露天風呂は外気が気持ちいいので、夜だけじゃなく朝風呂もおすすめ。朝の時間に入ると、同じ温泉でも体感が全然違いました。アクセス面は、強羅駅からシャトルバスがあるのが助かります。箱根は坂道が多いので、荷物がある日は特にシャトルの有無で快適さが変わる印象。料金は日によって動くので、記念日で確実にいい部屋を押さえたい人は、早めに日程を複数比較してみると選びやすいです。もし「箱根ホカンス」で迷っているなら、露天風呂付き客室＋水着混浴温泉プールの組み合わせで、ホテル滞在だけでも“旅行した感”がしっかり出るのでおすすめ。次は朝食もゆっくり時間を取って、ホテル内で完結するスケジュールにしたいと思いました。
